You may be able to take a snap of the VM, wait like 10mins, then go into Snap Mgr and remove the snap. Choose to store with VM. Overprovisioning might work in a pure housing environment where i have no clue what's happening in the virtual machine. I thought that the relationship between vswp and memory reservations was pretty much understood by everyone and expected this to be some hack to deal with a particular problem. Bug? The format for these files are .vswp I was working my way through a customers datastores, trying to find some orphaned VMs or files that could be deleted and I noticed that Share This Page Legend Correct Answers - 10 points Request unsuccessful. It only takes few minutes on 200+ big datastores and you get all the orphaned files. Personally, I believe in a balanced approach.
