Ok, some warnings seems to be coming from pacemaker commands. And the dependancies should be resolved automatically with apt. If it got put in the wrong dir (possible) then modprobe won't find it. They will need to have name resolution configured either through DNS or the /etc/hosts file. The instructions for downgrading from 8.4 to 8.3 are here, maybe it's worth adding them to the release notes? Then at least the direct usage seems to work.

Sorry if I was unclear. –balentaw Jun 9 '11 at 22:37 AFAIK nothing in particular if you don't compile DRBD from source. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed. Tango Icons © Tango Desktop Project.
I noticed in the 8.3.6 Makefile, module: and rpm: are prefaced by .PHONY: .. Not Defined In Your Config (for This Host) And of course the arguments for that have been changed by upstream as well (help-xml instead of xml). I put one node to standby, installed drbd8-utils 2:8.4.3-0ubuntu0.12.04.2~rc4, did not change drbd.conf, brought node up again and migrated all resources to that node. dig this If the primitive DRBD resource uses ocf::heartbeat::drbd, it's the resource agent from resource-agents, /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/heartbeat/drbd, which is ancient and shouldn't be used.

I'm not looking for help in solving the problem. If you're installing linux-image-extra-virtual, then you might as well be running the full server installation, e.g., linux-image-server. Fatal Module Drbd Not Found Centos 6 This is the same version depended on by the meta-package linux-image-extra-virtual. I am working on it but its a bit of a mess.

Any help would be much appreciated - do I have to build the module from scratch? See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. On 23 Apr 2014 12:06, "Stefan Bader"
Weirdly in your output there was a version check of ++ DRBDADM_VERSION_CODE=0x08030b ++ DRBDADM_VERSION=8.3.11 + (( 0x08030b >= 0x080302 )) and that check I cannot find in the heartbeat/drbd script.
Instead, just doCode:apt-get install linux-image-extra-virtualand everything will work. Instead it waited for some socket connection to fail. That version number looks to be read from /proc/drbd and would reflect the version of the kernel module. and now I can't build it on my other server because it won't let me install glibc, because I changed to the earlier kernel too soon...

I hope this clearify a bit more. The description should point out why the module does not get loaded before in your case (if you know). Yes, sorry I mixed it up. You can also try: modprobe -l | grep drbd.
