I have had problems with Windows Update incorrectly identifying components and recommending C- Media drivers when it was a Realtek version..So don't run Windows Update yet either.. Solution: Download and install the latest version of Realtek AC97 driver and it should be fine. So I guess my question is: How do i replace the new drivers with the old on my MOB disk? You can only upload files of type 3GP, 3GPP, MP4, MOV, AVI, MPG, MPEG, or RM. i would delete the sound entry in device manager, and reinstall the latest driver for it.
