One of the laptops (the IBM) can see the 7 machine and vice-versa, share folders, printers, etc. Since all clients run Vista or Win7, this should not be a problem. And everything in advance and sharing, is turned on. So why doesn't it work??????

Network & Sharing Network streamer cant see workgroup but can connect.Im not sure this is the right place but here goes. On each box, network discovery is turned on, as is file/printer sharing. The "user" folder is the default folder in the users settings. I think it is the same problem as David two posts above mine.

The biggest problem you may run into is finding the correct printer drivers for both versions of Windows.
